HER STORY
Kim Lyons is a multimedia artist specializing in intricately hand-dyed silks, as well as handcrafted, beaded jewelry. Whether textile or bead, each item is completely individual, with very colorful motifs and abstract designs, that cannot be recreated or mass-produced.
She constructs bespoke pieces, ranging from wall hangings and framed prints, to wearable art such as caftans, scarves, pocket squares and other adornments for a client base which she has built over the years through word of mouth and select venues.
She is a mother to an adult daughter Savannah, a NYC based dancer. Kim, along with her beloved pup Juno, divides her time in NYC and in her native Virgin Islands.
