Kim’s exploration as an artist began at the age of 12 with a crochet lesson from her Grandmother. In this spirit of curiosity, she is mostly self-taught but her interests have taken her all over the world in a quest for more knowledge: batik in Nigeria; shibori in Japan; screen printing in Maine; and traditional drawing in Scotland.
